The Jane Austen Book Club IMDB

Quote:
Six Californians start a club to discuss the works of Jane Austen, only to find their relationships -- both old and new -- begin to resemble 21st century versions of her novels.

Awh! Maggie looks so cute/pretty (not that she doesn't usually!). I actually think this movie sounds pretty good. No trailers yet although it does say post-production.
Sounds like the kinda chick-flick, doesn't matter if it's rubbish kinda film i like to watch with my mam

I've actually been waiting on it. Here's hoping it's not as horrible as The Fog... I love Maggie; that film made me want to give her a hug and tell her how sorry I was that her agent hated her.

So many Jane Austen films coming out recently. Becoming Jane is being released soon too.

"mum" and "rubbish" dude I wish I was a brit. lol.

This looks cute! I love Jane Austen anyway. She's a brilliant writer, and if the story is about her stories, I'll super enjoy it. haha. funny enough I'm watching Pride and Prejudice right now.

Look at my bookshelf and you will understand. My love for Jane Austen far outways my love of Lost (depressing but true) and thanks to Maggie I get a little bit of both in this movie.

Anyone know when it is set to go out?

We'll have you using our slang in no time dear. Just ask the others...

guilty as charged, ask Kayla. She thinks it's hilarious when I use your slang, because with my American accent, it sounds so funny.

'Tis hilarious, I must admit. The funniest thing, though, is when I have to show Jen examples of us Brits not being able to use American slang, e.g. 'Man, this womps', or 'Squee'

I already use the slang a lot. I can say thanks to Harry friggin Potter for that. lol. I yell "OY!" all the time. lol. Does that count? Not to mention, bugger.

dude, looking at that picture above makes me want to see this a lot.

Speaking of slang, I'm sure there is some exchanging on the other end of the spectrum. Any of you Brits use American slang? You can't be that bad AP. lol. "man, this womps" is pretty funny though, I dont think I've ever used that word.
