Hey guys!
I'd really like some advice here. I'm working on my new vid, but I have a slight problem. See, the song I'm working with is (except from totally awesome, in my opinion  ) very long, but only like 2:50 of the song is with song and lyrics and all that. The rest of it is just music, that is repeating all over again, maybe 2 min. And in the end the singer sings the title of the vid.
So, what I'd like to know is what you guys think I should do.
Should I edit the song, and cut out the non-lyric bit of the song, and still keep the end of the song? Or should I just don't care about taking the last line of the song in the vid and just let in fade out after 2:50?
Or... does anyone have any ideas? the only thing I won't do is to keep the song as it is, it's pretty hard to vid the non-lyric part and still have it interesting... I mean, 2 min without anything happening in the song? Hmm....

Think hard about the story the part with the lyrics is trying to say, and then make that story stand by itself without the lyrics in the second part so aren't just blindly following the lyrics  . If you've got a story going, and especially if the music in that last part is intense and varied enough to let you sorta "work it out" into a climax, you should have no trouble keeping the vid interesting all the way through - who knows, the instrumental part might even be the best part.
You may want to cut out some of the music though (be it the lyric part OR the instrumental) because 5 minutes is a long time to carry an interesting vid.
my advice overall is to just think about what you want to do with the vid, and then cut it down to just the necessities to do that .

Thanks Warren! 
I'll give it some thought and then I'll decide what to do, I still have 1 minute to vid before I reach the non-lyric part, so I have time to figure it out.
But as you said, I'm doing a story-vid and I think it would be hard to vid that instrumental part... or maybe not. Hm...
However, 5 minutes is as you said a pretty long time. So, I think I will have to cut some of the instrumental part anyway.
