Okay, I'm a bit new to this place but love making videos.
I just wondered what programs some of you were using.
I've tried WMM, Editstudio 5 and Ulead's but some of your guys work on here is fantastic and just wondered what you used.
That is all _________________

I used WMM 2 for my Marble Steps and I Want You vids but then my computer got screwed and took me back to WMM 1. I suffered with that for a while and then I got Sony Vegas 6.0 *is jealous of those with 7.0* _________________

Heya, hellybongo!
I used WMM 1 for "Vertigo" to "Hit The Road, Jack," then WMM 2 for "Wanted Dead Or Alive" to "Saving Sun." Everything from "Station Bawitdaba" and on were made with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0. *huggles Baby Vegas* I wuvs that program! |

I start with WMM1, than was WMM2 ...Than I found Ulead Video Studio 9 (it's really simple and nice programm)..Tryed to use Adobe but it was't works on my note book (I'm still cunfused WHY damn it)...I tryed Pinnacle, but I really was't so fond of it....
Anyway now I live happily with Sony Vegas 7a ...anyway I'm still hoping that Adobe will start working on my note book some day, 'cause I really want to try this one _________________

For Slow, Baby Mine, Superbleeder, All Their Fault, Gifts and Curses, and Shannon's Nightmare I used WMM1. For Eternity, Greyscale, Final Destination: Lost, and SurReality TV: The Challenge with WMM2, and Bombs Away with WMM2 with help from Vegas 6.0
I'm currently using Vegas 7.0 and WMM2...or I would be, if my computer didn't hate me so much... _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

Charmed_Charlie: HOW?????? Lol. Is it that much different from 6.0? Because I love 6.0, mainly because it's such a relief to not have to use WMM1 any more, so if it's not that much different I don't really care. _________________

I'm still on the beginnerslist, so currently I'm using WMM 2, but I really, really want to have Vegas. I also use Ulead Photo Express (something) for my still pics, which is something I've come to love. _________________

I was using WMM, but then downloaded a FREE TRIAL of Vegas 7.0 off Sony's site. By the looks of things, its EXTREMELY simliar to Vegas 6.0 (my sister is using a trial of that one). For "fan-made" videos, i'd say that Vegas 6.0 is just as good as 7.0. IMHO, even though I havent gone into much research on them both, there is no point in spending extra money on version 7.0. Hope that helps a little |

The only thing I find better about 7.0 is that it actually imports my .avis after I convert them to DIVX, whereas in 6.0 even after conversion, Vegas would crash any time I tried to open a clip. I think mainly the only differences are the bugs from 6.0 have been fixed for 7.0, but features and stuff are all the same, as far as I can tell. _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me
