First off, I'm really sorry that I haven't been around, mostly for the fact that I'm running around trying to read everything I've missed in the past 5 days. I've been at my mom's and her internet connection blows ass so I don't even attempt to get online over there.
Secondly, if you haven't picked up the newest TV Guide, I found something in it that actually had me laughing quite heartily. (and if i misquote, I'll get the mag from my mom's tomorrow...)
One very upset LOST fan actually wrote a letter to the weekly TV Guide magazine informing them on how upset that they killed off Boone on Lost and that they would never watch another ep ever again, and yada yada yada.
Oh please, somebody put a stake in me! We all miss Boone, but... again I'm speechless... anyone wanna comment on this?

Lies  Nobody ever stops watching. I'll bet that letter was probably from a writer of the magazine, trying to make a huff story for the mag. Though I don't doubt there are a few people out there who are upset this much, they aren't gonna stop watchng lost  or at least I highly doubt it. |

I actually encountered a few people on LJ who said they were going to stop watching now that Boone is dead...
I mean if you're only watching it for Boone (or ANY one character for that matter) you probably don't really "get" the show anyway.
Personally, I couldn't STAND Boone for most of the season. But I'm not a heartless bitch and felt bad at seeing one of the characters die.
Even if they killed off one of my favorite characters I'd still be completely hooked on the show.
So I mean it's OK to be sad about it, but it's not like it was "The Boone Show" to begin with. |

Exactly what I thought as I read through this thread.
Personally, I love enough of the characters so deeply that they'd pretty much have to hold a massacre to end my reasons for watching.
