I just put the clip on a new track cause i think "track motion" moves the motion of the whole track.
I think that anyway _________________

Is there some reason why you can't just move the clip itself with the pan/crop tool? (With the pan/crop tool and the cookie cutter, I can rule the world, mwahahahaha... )
I didn't just say that last part out loud, did I?

Hey there, Christine! A great place to start is Polarbear's Vegas Beginner's Tutorial. That'll help get you started with how to import clips and episodes and on how to use the Trimmer to cut out the scenes that you need (something that you do very differently than with WMM). It might take you a bit to get used to how Vegas works (it did me anyway! ) but once you get the hang of it, I'm just sure you'll love it!
Don't be afraid to ask questions 'cause that's how we ALL had to learn! Good luck and happy vidding! |

pretty much i just played around with it, i asked a bunch of questions, but like Ais said, it takes a while but youll get it. Im accually anti cookie cutter. i love the manip tool soo much better, just because i can just cut around the object, Cookie cutter was just nothing but a pain for me on my first vid! |

yeah i just played around with sony vegas for a while just to get used to it with it being so different to WMM
love cookie cutter big help in my one last cry vid, but if you read polar bears tutorial it does help, it helped me loads, but the major thing i think with using Sony Vegas after just using a program like WMM is getting used to using Sony Vegas with it being so different. Just play around with the effects and transitions for a while and i'm sure you'll get the hang of it |
