Chapter Two
"Nathan!" Ana Lucia screamed as blood flew through the air and Nate's body fell to the ground with a silent thud. Charlie looked at Ana and shot at her. She ran into the crowd of screaming people. Charlie ran after her.
Liz opened her eyes. She looked and around gasped when she felt a sharp pain in her back. She reached back and grabbed the knife and pulled it out. She dropped it and stood up. Thank God only the tip was imbedded in my shoulder blade, she thought. It really hurt but Liz didn't care. She looked around and saw Nate's body. "Oh my god!"
Liz ran over to Nate's body. She turned him over. Half of his face was covered in blood. "Nate?" She wiped some of the blood away from his eyes. "Nathan?" She dropped his body and scooted back. She started to cry.

Jack was checking Claire's pulse. She was still on the cave floor. "Is that who I shot?" Jack turned around. Danielle was standing in the entrance. "Yeah. You're lucky you got her in the leg and not a little bit higher."
"I thought they were in here."
"Who?"
"Some of the others."
"What makes you think they'd be here?"
"They blew up the cave and the crater."
"The crater?"
"Many of your friends are dead, including Sayid." Jack stood and wlked over to her. "You better be lying."
"I wish I was." Danielle walked away. Jack watched her leave and he ran back to the caves.

He quickly finished sewing up Michael's leg. "Sun, I want you to take care of them while I'm gone."
"Alright."
"Where the hell are you gonig, Doc?" Sawyer asked. Jack turned around and looked at him. "Shut up." Jack walked out of the caves.

Shanno stumbled into the crater. She saw people's bodies and was in shock. She could see footprints. One of those pairs have to be Sayid's. She tripped and fell to the ground. She looked to see hat she tripped on. It was Sayid. Shannon stopped. She looked at the giant rock impaled in the back of his head. She stared at him. She broke into tears.

Liz dragged Nate's body into the bushes. she was still crying. She was hoping that whatever Charlie was didn't see them. She looked at Nate's eyes. She couldn't believe he was dead. She had only really know him for a few hours and was devastated iver his death.
Nate opened his eyes. |

Yeah, I thought it seemed suspicious that Holly didn't say who she voted for.
I knew something was up. How could 2 votes come out of nowhere for Nate. |
