(Now) 29 photos, same technique on all. Some I really like; some I might redo. Feel free to use any for whatever purpose, as long as they're unaltered. If anyone wants any of the folks I haven't done yet (Nikki, Paolo, Goodwin, Cindy, etc.) or a specific photo for any given character, please let me know. If anyone can find better photos for Naomi and Karl especially (specifically: high-contrast shots with a contrasting or blank background), please post 'em up so I can redo either.
Enjoy! (I hope.) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I like the coloring, my favorites are the Sawyer and Ben ones. You used nice pictures of them, and techniques. |

Ack! I knew I forgot someone important.
Thanks, Kate!
Since I know you like Sun, here is a previous Sun one I had done before deciding I liked the long shot better (the pen technique made her look older in the close-up for some reason.)

Aww The Mr. Eko and Sun ones are awesome. Yeah sometimes when you use pen or pencil effects on peoples faces, it makes their facial expressions older. |

Wow, these are great! I was just going to go work on some more avatars. I especially like the Sawyer and the Ben ones, but Jack is good too...They all are really, tho some more than others. Very cool technique. _________________

Thanks, Sassy! I do think Jack came out well (though it pains me to say it). I especially like Ben, Charlie, Claire, Kate, Locke, and Shannon, personally, as I think their photos were the best. (I think the pen technique also might not work so well on darker skintones, as the Sayid, Michael, Walt, Jin, Sun, Rose ones aren't fantastic - but I'm not sure why.)
Behold, backgrounds!
(Normal screen.)
(Widescreen.)
I really should be doing laundry, not messing around in Photoshop. OH WELL. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Behold! Fun word. Don't ask why, I just found it funny to repeat. Very cool wallpaper! I just may snag that one later, if ya don't mind.
You have photoshop? Awesomeness. (Yes, I make up words often) I have Jasc PSP 8 and play around with it, but I don't know what it's full potential is by any means.
Can't wait for more of your art! _________________

Yup, I do. I've been working with it for a while, but all my art has a certain pop art look to it (check out my 'Random backgrounds' thread for Sawyer and Sayid stuff, and an All Your Base gag at the end).
Realism, with photos of actors, doesn't appeal to me, and neither does the pastel stuff, obviously. (I don't think I seem like a pastel person, do I?) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

A pastel person? I dunno, I never really thought about it. I usually don't talk to people and think, 'Hey, they must be a pastel person.' lol jk Seriously speaking (sorry, I sometimes have trouble doing that) I guess you don't...I like the art you do, tho. _________________

Belatedly: Thank you!
I will do a pastel icon set now. With rainbows and fluffy white kittens.
