OMG I saw the movie! That was friggin' awesome!
JJ Abrams is the best! He might even be catching up to Spielberg in my book! I actually didn't think Tom Cruise was that bad. I didn't realize Laurence Fishburne was in it. When he came on I was like "OMG it's Morpheus!" Whoa, in that Vatican scene, Maggie Q was burning up the theater! You know who else did a really good job? Michael Giacchino. He did a really good job of sort of mixing the MI theme with some original stuff.
SPOILERS: NOT TO BE READ BY ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THE MOVIE!!! wrote: | I knew it! I knew it was that guy, not Brassel, who was working with Davian! Also, when they shot Julia, I knew it was really someone else in a mask and not her. |
Didn't see the Lost reference though. Great movie. |

Loved this movie. It was an accomplishment for its genre. Action films are generally just... stupid, where you don't care abotu the characters at all, but that whole opening scene thing that tied in later was so powerful I was pulled into the characters as well as the action. Definitely the best MI I've seen, the others didn't even take it seriously.
My only problem with this movie was the fact I was sitting in the third row, and all thsoe quick shots nearly gave me a seisure it was painful! LOL |

I saw it. When it came out and it was great. I diffenitly agree about the music being similar to lost(except the mi themes) but thats a good thing in my books. I have both albums
The Lambo bit was funny, my friend is obsessed about the lambos and was almost screaming when (you know what happened).
The best bit was the bridge scene That ROCKED!!! _________________

Out of this last batch of blockbusters (and there have been a lot), this was, in my opinion, the best of the bunch, beating The Da Vinci Code and X3 to hell. It was just done well, which made it an awesome movie for anyone, despite the weird mask stuff and the nonstop action. It was well done, and it deserves to be recognized for that. The other two I can't exactly agree on. |
