Woho! I was so happy this morning when I saw that the swedish newspapers write that JJ Abrams has offered famous swedish actor Peter Stormare a part in the next season - a specially-written one. So if he turns the part down, it might never be a character at all... and that leaves the question - what kind of character? What I hear is that he would play someone on Naomi's boat. Hopefully somebody evil  ...because it's playing those parts that he shows his best sides as an actor.
He's known from both Prison Break and lots of other movies like Armageddon and Constantine, etc. (my fave Swedish actor  )
Here's the article but it's in Swedish, so I can translate it for you kinda shortly;
The popular tv-series 'Lost' wants a new star for the upcoming fourth season - Peter Stormare.
- I'm supposed to decide if I want it or not within a month.
Peter Stormare is known from famous movies, and a few famous tv-series like 'Prison Break', where he played John Abruzzi - a character he no longer wanted to play after one season and had to fight to get him written out.
- I want to do more movies. 'Lost' wants me one season but it might be more, and you can't do anything else during that time. It's difficult, but flattering. I don't want to sign up for tv-series when I've got other movies I want to do.
So we'll have to see. Peter has until September to decide wether he wants his specially-written role or not.
My own words are pretty much PLEASE PLEASE PETER, TAKE THE OFFER! I'm gonna go crazy next season watching it and knowing that you could have been in it! PLEASE! SNÄLLA!

I think this is the carachter he might be playing;
[...] First up is the recurring character of Russell, described as a brilliant mathematician in his late thirties who is "capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields." Well, won't that be helpful. Unfortunately, he tends to be too direct for his own good, and as a result, his personal relationships don't always add up. Russell is scheduled to turn up in Episode 1.
Oh, I so wish he would take on this role. Definetly someone who will be compared with Sayid, for sure

ABRUZZIE! IN LOST!!  *Fan boy faints and squees!*  I loved him in Prison Break, he was my favorite character, i hated it when he died. I dont think hes going to take the part though. He really didnt like filming Prison Break, he said he was done with TV... im praying he will change his mind.
oh he was also in fargo. he was the guy who shoved steve buscimie in the wood chipper! |

Ditto there, Trey. I sooo hope that he will be talked into taking the part as he is in Sweden right now filming a reality tv-show during this week and maybe swedish celebrity fans of Lost will be able to change his mind... 
If I saw him in the street I would totally say TAKE THE PART FOR GODS SAKE! to him!
Please please... it's gonna be hard to watch season 4 without you, Peter!

Looks like "Veronica Mars" aka Kirsten Bell might be joining up ...as the Charlotte-person. ( http://tv4.se/lost/567895.html )
What do you think about that? It's Auisellocthat says so...
