Of course, like Jen said, LOST clips are A LOT easier to saturate because they're already fairly pretty |
I've been kinda Contrast-impaired, all I seem to do is make wash-out looking clips when I mess with it! I've been having better luck with Sony Levels but I'm definitely going to try Contrast and Saturation to see what that gives me! Like you and Jen have both said, SPN clips are waaaay dark! (The thorn in the side of both vidders and icon-makers! )
And, just for the record, I made my own thread, spammed it a bit, then split that sucker so I'd be sure to know how to do it the next time that happens! My apologies again, KC, for not splitting it for you last night. I just didn't want to risk all that coding without a back-up!
Safety first, you know. |

erm...Ais, how do you get a washed out clip from contrasting...? I think you're pushing the levels the wrong way... _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

With great difficulty! Kids, please don't try this at home! Aislynn is a professional contrast messer-upper. (And I, uh, wash it out with the Brightness control more than Contrast, d'oh! I just tend to think of them as one thing: brightnessandcontrast... )

Well, when you push the brightness up, as a rule of thumb, push the contrast up TWICE as much, e.g. Brightness at .10, Contrast at around .20 or just a little more. That's usually what I did, before Vegas 7.0 _________________
