Welcome to LVI's very first Collab Contest! Collaborations are very popular in the world of vidding, so we thought it would be fun to have a special contest for them! This contest is in addition to our regular monthly contests, and depending on how many entries we get for this, we may have more of these in the future.

The theme for this contest is romantic relationships. There are practically endless possibilities, and any ship you want is allowed - from tv shows and/or movies, canon, AU, OC, you name it, it's allowed! You can focus on one ship, or multiple couples. If you want to show a warm and fuzzy vid with a happy ending, that's great! Or if you want to make an angsty, heartbreaking vid, that's just fine too.

The top 3 vids will receive a winning banner. All videos will be held until the end of the contest, and then revealed all at once. Be creative, and have fun!

The Rules

Specific Contest Rules
• Make a video featuring one or more romantic relationship/s.
• Groups must consist of 2 - 5 vidders. Each group must enter their vid under a collab username. Group members may be existing LVI members or new members. Each vidder is only allowed to be in one collab group.
• This contest will run from May 1 - June 30. All entries must be received by June 30.
• Running time should be under five minutes. We suggest the 3 - 5 minute range.
• The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "LVI Collab Contest 2013" exactly in your vid's description.

General Contest Rules:
• Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page.
• All regular submissions Rules apply.
• Only one entry per group.
• Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
• Please do not use Rapidshare, Yousendit, Mediafire, or Sendspace as your only hosting place as the links tend to expire quickly.
• If you're using Youtube as your primary link, please also provide us with an alternative link. Far too often, YT is either disabled or muted by the time the contest is ready to be judged. Mediafire and zshare are just a couple of the sites out there that can be used as reliable backup links. We do realise that there have been a lot of issues with file-sharing websites recently but if you can find anywhere that you're comfortable uploading to and that is easily accessible, that would be great!
• Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available to be watched at least until after the deadline has passed. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.

Still finding a bit difficult to collab when I don't know many LVI people. I think I'll make a post that features what my vidding interests are, etc. and see if anyone bites.
