yeah, but you need to install Service Pack 2 to do so. I suggest you do that anyway, regardless of WMM, but you might not want to...
And a note: WMM2 probably has more problems than WMM1, even though it has more effects and stuff.

Something worth checking out before you switch to WMM 2 (if you do -- and yes, you have to have the Service Pack 2 for it to work) is to look at the properties of your clips. If they're all different sizes, then WMM 2 will see them all differently, even if WMM 1 currently sees them as looking the same. WMM 2 has completely wrecked half of my old clips in this fashion!

Of course, if you don't care about aspect ratio (that is, your clips not being the same size) then it'll be okay. But it makes me nutty to try to edit a vid when the picture is flipping from big to little to big to little!

That's been the one true downer about upgrading to WMM 2 for me. But as for the effects and titles and such, they're awesome!

But, unfortunately, it also seems that WMM 2 is a bit less stable than 1 was. 2 has locked up on me a lot more than 1 ever did. Probably because of those effects and titles and such that I just called awesome!

I actually wish they would let you keep WMM 1 along with 2, that way you could have the best of both worlds! (I'm sure that Bill Gates is making note of this right at this very moment...

yeh .. i wanted to download it too but i need service pack 2 but i cant install that coz some git who sold his computer to me, negleted to inform me that he used an illegal copy

... anyone know a way round it?
