The Terra Nova DVD is available for pre-order! Although I couldn't find this information on the amazon UK page, apparently it will have:
Director's Diaries - Making the Pilot
Occupation/Resistance Extended Episode
Mysteries Explored
Cretaceous Life: The Dinosaurs of Terra Nova
Audio Commentary on Occupation/Resistance with Stephen Lang, Brannon Braga and Rene Echevarria
Deleted Scenes
Gag Reel
DELETED SCENES. GAG REEL. *excited*
And extended finale??? 
We might also be getting a motion comic:

LOL I'm not really sure! But there's a little preview on the link I gave  Whatever it is, I will probably check it out as I'm dying to know what would happen in S2...maybe it would even encourage me to keep writing for my OC once I get up to the finale |

I like how the link you posted mentions 'Terra Nova files' and accessing them to help complete the story the way you'd like it to end.
I'd never heard of a motion comic before  It seems to be a fancy name for an animated story/ comic.

I would have prefered to see the story finished with real people and not animated figures, but I appreciate that they are trying to find a way to finish telling the story. I'm curious to know where they would have gone with the series.
