An update on the Spike TV movie. It was only the other day that Joss Whedon asked Tim Minear if he wanted to "write and direct some blonde vampire movie thing". Tim said yes. It’s still very early days though as nothing is signed.
Anyhow, this is what Tim said :
"Also, I had lunch with Joss and he asked me if I wanted to write and direct some blonde vampire movie thing. Should I do it? (I of course said yes right off, still) Anything under 13 hours scares me. And anything over 13 hours... um. I got nothin’." |
Might be rumours but... OMG!!!! Ive been waiting for this!!!!!   |

Well I liked him one of my favorite characters from Buffy. If the roumors are true, I hopr it will run in Germany too

ja in buffy is er gestorben
aber in irgend ner Angel staffel wo angel seinen sohn aus der Hölle holen wollte, hat er Spike gleich mitgenommen und der is jetz tbei denen in der serie gewesen
falls due angel gesehen hast hat glaub ich bei uns das ausgestrahlen aufgehört als der kmische vampirjäger mit dem Sohn vom Angel in die Hölle is oder so, oder is sien sohn wider in die Hölle?
ich weiss es ned, ich weiss nur, dass spike eben wieder in der serie war bei denen oo
hab bilder und so gesehen

LOL it's a movie thats gonna be based on James Master's vampire character "Spike" from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Yes Spike did die in the series finale of Buffy but he was brought back in the season 5 premiere of Angel. Turns out it was Lyndsay (an evil lawyer that used to work for Wolfram and Heart, an evil law firm) who planned it all along (Spikes death and being brought back l mean).
So yeah l hope this is true too Harry. A Spike movie...WooHoo!!!

Yes Ally explained it too, but she didn't really kewn what happned to Spike after he died.
So it was all planned? So he changed back on the bad side again? Thought he wasn't really that bad guy. I liked him so much in his sentimental moments ^^

No he didn't turn back into evil Spike, he still had his soul from when he was on Buffy. Although him and Angel didn't get along with each other for the entire season. LOL

I have not heard about this! Besides being ecstatic, I'm a bit disappointed to hear that Joss would not be writing/directing as everyone knows he wrote/directed some of the best and most memorable Buffy episodes. And besides, Joss is just the man end of story. However, I do love TIM MINEAR!
Quick Poll:
Is it "Min-EAR" Or "Mini-ARE?" I can't decide!
Is anyone hoping, not only that the movie ends up happening and is a success, but that it might be a springboard to a new series?

EW! I'm SO calling him "Min" "E" "ARE" still. "MY" "NEAR"? That's just wrong!
I call Don Cheadle (pronounced, "Chi" "Dull") Don "Shuh" "Dell" It sounds French or something and I like it. I called him that for years before someone finally told me I was pronouncing it wrong. OOPS. ShuhDell is WAY BETTER than ChiDull. |
