Lost Video Island

This is my first original trailer and I want to use instrumental music at the beginning of my video to set the tone of the "movie". The idea is that Claire becomes pregnant and her rockstar boyfriend Charlie leaves her. She goes to LA meet Jack, the brother she never met. It's both Jate and PB&J and I would consider it a drama, but it will have some lighthearted moments.

I just can't seem to find the right song to convey that tone. I guess I'm looking for something that will go with artist like: Snow Patrol, One Republic, The Fray, Keane, etc.
