JANUARY 2009
Contest: "Season 4 Recap"
Deadline: January 31st

The Details

Season 4 was all about answers! Jack and Claire were revealed as siblings, certain survivors were rescued and we discovered their future fate plus we found out that the island can move!

As Season 5 looms, we want to see your take on Season Four! Just like our last recap contests, your task is to recap the highlights of the last season. This includes both character and story development. Your recaps should include every main character from Season Four, at least briefly, and most importantly it should be done in an entertaining and interesting fashion.

We're giving you a head-start on this contest so you'll have a little longer to work on your recaps. To avoid the confusion for non-Lost watchers who watch your video, we ask that you make your video in the order in which the episodes aired rather than jumping around and going from 4x04 scenes to 4x12 scenes and then to 4x02 scenes. After all; the whole point of these recaps is so they make sense to someone who isn't familiar with the show.

The Rules

Specific Contest Rules:

• -Has to coherently tell the story of Season Four with both, character and plot development.
• -Running time should be no longer than 10 minutes. We suggest the 5 - 10 minute range.
• -The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• -When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "January 2009 contest submission" exactly in your vid's description.

General Contest Rules:

* - Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page
* - All regular submissions Rules apply.
* - Only one entry per vidder
* - Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
* - Please do not use Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit to host your files.
* - Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available for download at least until the end of the month. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
* - Have fun!

I always had an idea for a Season 4 recap with a certian song, so we'll see if I can attempt it and get it done.

Glad it's starting early so there's more time.

i might try one. thinkin of im not driving anymore instrumental by rob dougan. but i got a top secret project along with a season 5 trailer and finishing up my four christmases trailer, but ill see.

This sounds really cool and i am definatley going to enter this time lol I have started it but am now struggling to find clips of the Frieghter folk from Confirmed Dead

I use my dvd but for some reason like the whole of season 2 it just says Error.

my season 2 DVD's screw up too :S i use DVD Shrink and it works on everything bar season two of Lost :S so for that I use DVD Decrypter. its freeware too

maybe it'll work on your ep 2?? And you can always check the clip links and/or request clips you need

Oh darn - I like, just thought of a really cool song I could use for this.. I always come up with an idea right near the end of the month.. I might just do it anyway... or work real fast and try and get it finished. *ponders*
