In this week's EW magazine, they said that Locke's reference to his father being a bad person is a set up for a future flash back. Is anyone else thinking that his dad put him in the wheel chair? _________________ I want to make videos like Charmax and LAURA4LAD when I grow up.

I read that too but no I didn't connect the two at the time.
Since you mentioned it I now have the thought in my head. Especially since his answer to Walt when asked if his dad is cool - "No he isn't (as in his dad is still alive)." Unless I am remembering the conversation wrong. _________________

In Locke's centered episode he mentioned he had lived with the "condition," for 4 years. Your theory is good, but I have to wonder if his father could have paralyzed him just four years prior when Locke himself seems to be in his 50s--what will that make his dad? Late 70s-early 80s?
Morelight nice catch with the line about daddy being alive. The only thing I can gather is perhaps the father was responsible indirectly. I hope we get childhood flashbacks. damn.
DAMNIT Cli I'm trying to spoiler free and I've only lasted 4 days. Don't blaim yourself, I'm weak-laura |

That is true about the age thing Laura, but since we know so little about this mysterious condition it could be anything from psychological trauma to a gunshot wound and even 80 yr olds can be the cause of either or both.
I look forward to seeing what happened too! Locke is still my favorite male character! |

Locke should be everyone's favorite male character-the others are just eye candy. |
