Anyone see last night's ep?
It was soo awesome! It was so cool to have an adventure again in Doctor Who, going through Pompeii and the ending was sooo sad. I LOVED the water gun Ten had!! LOL. _________________ Jin is lost in Sunlation forever..

I'm really loving this new season! I'm SOOOOOOO happy with how they're continuing with that kinda mad-cap, fun, friendship vibe! They have such great chemistry in a non-romantic way!
And ZOMG, the water gun, lol! That was fantastic! *thumbs up* ♥!

The whole non-romantic relationship is great, and the ending was so sweet with The Doctor and Donna...I've always loved Catherine Tate ever since Runaway Bride.
Spoiler:
Really?? Martha?? Ehh, she's not as good as Rose/Donna

Somewhere
Spoiler:
Martha is making this face
Poor ol' gal, I've always felt kinda bad for her. Now, don't get me wrong, Rose pwns all when it comes to New Who companion chicks, followed closely by Donna, IMO. I just always felt like Martha just didn't get handled right by the writers or something. I dunno. And I might've felt totally different about her if I'd been watching s3 one ep at a time instead of coming in after it was over, so I knew what all was going to happen and what to expect.
And I forgot to mention the first time that Donna totally won my fangirly heart when she put her hands on that lever with the Doctor's so that he would feel like it wasn't all on his shoulders, that it was her choice as well. *sniffle*
And heeeee, the whole "Sparticus" thing. "Oh, brother and sister? Yes, of course, you look very much alike..." And they're all

AGREED. That totally got to me too. It was so sad/awesome at the same time. Though did they really expect us to believe they were gonna die? lolz. 2nd episode into the new series and the only two main characters die. YEAH. THAT WOULD SO HAPPEN.
And when she was crying at him, saying "Save someone! Anyone!" and he was saying that he wish he could go back and save everyone on his planet but he can't..
That made me think, why doesnt he just go back in time and watch Rose like Jack said he did? It would make him sad but it would be good for us shippers. Well, it'd probs make me cry cos even in the xmas special with Donna when he said "Her name was Rose" made me ball But you get the picture.
Next weeks looks good too,
Doctor: Oh no no no we're not married!
Donna: We're so not married!
Doctor: Never!
Donna: Never EVER.
If Rose could get another mention that would be grrrreat ta. _________________

I really don't like the new season. They've spun the storyline into something half-resembeling a parody.
I'm not sure I like the storyarc being Rose Well, maybe if they started just refrencing like in Saturdays episode, then showed her later. They seem to have done it a little backwards.
Spoiler:
I love Martha Can't wait for her return and then at the end of the season, she's gunna take off with Jack to Torchwood and not have to bother you again
Was she mentioned in the 2nd episode? I dont think she was.. I can't remember.
I dont think they way they're bringing Rose back in is excellent, and having her in the first episode was really to let us know that she's coming back and this season is just a set up for her return. It's kinda got us looking out for scenes where something to do with her is mentioned, and making us sit through the episode is she's gonna turn up at the end again. I think it's a really different way of bring back a character.
I dont think the storyline is almost a parody. A sotryline hasnt even been set up yet, so.
The show is, overall, funnier though. But still not parody-ish. Doctor Who has never really been funny apart from the odd line from DT. His "sidekicks" have always been too smitten with him to crack jokes and such, and now we have Donna it's like she's more intrested in the traveling and being his mate who she can banter with, than swooning over him like Rose & Martha (mostly Martha) did. And the jokes arent OTT either, they're here and there and are delivered well too (eventhough I dont really like Catherine Tate as a comedian, she does have good comical timing)
Spoiler:
Martha is going to annoy me when she comes back - but she'll be jealous of Rose so thats okay

Lmao,
Yeah I would say the show has had some jokes in it but not so many to make it parody. But everyone to their own
Yeah that's why in a way I like Donner, because she isn't seen as a possible love interest this series she is seen more of a friend and a companion. As before with Rose and Martha it was more of being the love interest. (Even though for me Rose will always pwn Martha lol)
