Yeah that actually made me feel a lot better too 
I think the most interesting point of the fanfic Im reading is how they wrote the "triangle" relationships. It is so accurate! Like that Jack never *really* DID "see" Kate, or at least he saw what he wanted to see. He was always hoping she would become some penitent woman, whereas Sawyer just took her as is. Anyway thats the short version. Really came to tell you guys that I had a Jack, Sawyer, Kate and ME dream last night. Yeah we were on waterslides. I dont know what else to say.

That's always been my feeling on it as well. That she had to make herself "worthy" of Jack, while Sawyer accepts her as she is. Making yourself "better" for someone you care about is a noble ambition but if you've ever actually tried to deal day in/day out with somebody who is on you every second to be "worthy" of them... Well, the bloom fades off THAT rose pretty quickly! Everyone should try to better themselves, don't get me wrong. But it's almost impossible to give yourself a total personality overhaul just because somebody tells you you're not good enough as you are...  At some point, they have to be willing to accept you as you are, faults and all. Or they never really cared about you to begin with. They just cared about who they could make you.
*realizes she drifted away from the fictional characters for a moment* Uh, sorry. Just consider that a life lesson, from me to you.

this was not for me, but it's just sooooo  I think, it's hard to be perfect for other people, and for man partisicularly..It's really annoying when someone want to change you and even don't think about your feeling, it's only egoism and totally can't be called true and justice love..I don't talk now about Jack and Kate, I talk about real life.
