Why... oh WHY did the Lost DVDs have to have COPY PROTECTION?????

I've just spent £85 on the seasons one and two boxsets... and I put one of the discs into my computer to start ripping clips I needed for my Seven Deadly Sins vid (which, by the way, I will now probably NEVER get finished), and it came up with a copy protection message.

"Great," I thought. Well, actually, it was something much more profane, but I won't smear these wonderful boards which profanities.

BUT I think you can rip copy protected DVDs with DVD Shrink, no? Because I tried it before, and it was working. The only problem I had was with converting the .VOB files into .wmv or even .avi, so I'm going to go lookee in the Vidding Help forum now.

*sigh. rant officially over*
