I really don't like the idea of finishing Lost with a movie.
I feel that TV shows should stay as TV shows, making them into movies never feels quite right, and it ends up ruining them. |

I agree with DS and Spiral... I don't think that a Lost movie is a good idea. Sorry that I have to get back to the X-Files again, but it's the best example because it just didn't work! The movie was so different from the series, it just didn't have its atmosphere and spirit. It looked like a lil' cheap action/sci-fi low-budget production.
I guess it's certainly easier to turn Lost into a movie than the X-Files but then there's still the problem that it might not attract people who don't know the show or if it does, those people might not understand the movie. By that time, say after season 4 or 5, the series with all its mysteries will be far more complex than it is now and I don't see how they want to answer all the questions in a two-hour movie in a way that the Lost fans as well as those who don't know the show will understand everything. _________________

A movie? Oh my god. Why don't they just finish the show now! If they bring out a movie, then LOST will not be the most epic show of all time, it will be the lamest.
I heard that there was going to be a Friends Movie, but most of the cast turned it down. Good! The same thing with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Some of the producers ect. wanted to make a movie but SMG, and 3 others of the main cast turned it down becasue they felt like they had to leave it there. SMG hated being Buffy towards the end, and said she was glad the show ended. Woah okay going off topic here..
I really hope they don't make a LOST movie. It would ruin the show for me, and other lost fans. JJ Abrams must know that. _________________

Ditto that! And what Warren said about not having an enormous amount of flashback if they did do a movie. That would be boring for avid LOST viewers. _________________
