The Details
We’ve all seen many, many vids about Jack. About Kate. About Sawyer. Sometimes it gets a little tiring to see another vid about Charlie’s drug addiction or Locke being thrown out a window. What about our other Losties, the ones that have been around since the beginning? Where’s the love for them in the world of vidding?
That’s what we want to see for this contest! Boone, Hurley, Jin, Michael, Sayid, Shannon, Sun, Walt, and even Vincent, have been hanging around since season 1, just waiting for some incredible vids about them to be made! We’d like to see some character studies of these characters. And not something simple, such as “Sayid was a soldier”, or “Walt’s a kid”. Look deep into these characters and show what makes them interesting.
The Rules
Specific Contest Rules:
• -Videos must be about the "lesser-vidded" characters from Season 1 (Boone, Hurley, Jin, Michael, Sayid, Shannon, Sun, Vincent, or Walt).
• -The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• -Running time should be no longer than 5 minutes. We suggest the 3 - 5 minute range.
• -When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "August 2007 contest submission" exactly in your vid's Description.
General Contest Rules:
• -Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page
• -All regular submissions Rules apply.
• -Only one entry per vidder
• -Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
• -Please do not use Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit to host your files.
• -Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available for download at least until the end of the month. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
• -Have fun!
